I have had no problems at all, and according to what i have read, it has the same chip setup that the launch 360's have. My 360 is downstairs in the coolest room in the house, but I have accidently left it on overnight a few times and it's still going. I'm not going to try to intentionally make it break. If it is still working by Jan 2010, I will definitely have gotten my money's worth by far, considering I only paid $300 in a sale price back then. And would have no problem just buy a new...
I have been playing their games since Baldur's Gate, BGII, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect. They never let me down and ME2 is a day one purchase for me.
Bioware FTW.
Funny how last Gen Microsoft was the FPS console and now Sony has taken that title. Also MS had not much JRPG love, but now they are pwning Sony backside in that area.
will walk by that bundle and give a "meh". That Bundle cries out for you to stop grab the box and check out the contents, and head for the check out lines. $330 for all that is cheap!
and the screenshots just have me looking forward to it even more!
Of course it is good for the indutry overall. It pushes units out to people who otherwise might not be able to afford to buy a console. This grows the overall userbase. Also this puts more pressure on Sony to reduce prices, which means improving efficiency in production. Much better this than some Oligopolistic collusion where prices are kept artificially high by a few companies that aren't really competing.
Thier stock is going to be cleared out fast at that price.
and frankly I am really looking forward to it. They may have some technical kinks to work out early on, but I bet 3-4 months from now everyone will be used to it and will not want to go back at all.
I would just stick with PS3. It will be much cheaper, games much cheaper, bigger libarary. Why upgrade to PS 3.5?
Dumb move Sony! Keep the innovation coming.
Day one purchase.
The pull of Xbox Live can be pretty strong once you have been a member for a year or two.
A 100% increase would be doubling 360 sales. 214% means you sold what you originally sold, plus over twice that again on top of it. Not sure where you are getting that it sold double the PS3, unless I totally missed it.
Halo's proof is in the numbers. Games sold. Online play numbers. Critical reviews. Obviously LOTS of people are still enjoying it. Sorry if that somehow irks you.
Gamers plead: 'STFU publishers!'
Does this guy not realize you can play both machines? His reasoning seems fairly petulant.
Kojima can be pretty indecisive. Maybe that's his right, but it's also the right of onlookers to be annoyed. No?
I would like to see more RPGs.
Then I will be purchasing it. It will be the first time I have ever purchased the MS points. I've been with Halo 1-3 so I'm not stopping now.
It's intereesting how Halo bashing is considered fashionable, yet when they drop product, everybody opens the wallets. Must be just the PS3 guys, because halos attach rate is rediculously high.
Is this the type of news that is typically posted here? Just curious how serious this site is about the standards set for article approval/postings.
coming back. With this new update it is a no brainer for $50. It impoves all your games so much!
